Packet Categorization

Below is a guide constructed to help distinguish difficult sets from simple sets, so players of all skill levels can select suitable questions to practice with.

Highly recommended sets are italicized and bolded. Almost all packets can be obtained from this website and this website. All packs are free with the exception of NAQT sets, which can be purchased online on this page.

A direct link has been provided for most sets. The link gives you newest released edition of the set, meaning there exists several other older editions on this website and this website. For NAQT sets, the link will give you a sample packet; full sets can be purchased on their website.

If you feel that a prominent set that does not appear on this list should be included, email Ted Gan with your difficulty categorization of the set. If you are an experienced Quizbowl player who objects strongly to a set’s categorization, please email Ted.
